Our (Cool) Benefits

In addition to our full-suite of benefits, here are some great add-ons our employees receive.

Family Time & Flexibility

SaskCentral understands and supports work-life balance. It’s one of the reasons our employees rate us as one of Canada’s Best Workplaces. We provide our employees with flexible options that will best suit their contributions as employees at SaskCentral.

Our Volunteer Program

Giving back is what we do and SaskCentral encourages all employees to make their own personal commitment to the community.

Our Volunteer Policy gives employees three paid days a year to volunteer for an organization of their choice. The Volunteer Grant Program also rewards employees who volunteer 40 hours on personal time with a $500 contribution to that organization on their behalf.

Wellness Program

SaskCentral is committed to supporting employees in their efforts to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

We have a robust health and wellness program for eligible employees (full or part-time permanent and individuals with terms of employment of six months or more) so they can participate in local health and fitness programs. There is also other various health and wellness programming options available to support our employees in achieving personal and workplace wellness.

Professional Development

SaskCentral provides opportunities for employees to keep their skills and knowledge current.

It’s important that employees develop new skills and expand their knowledge through educational programs normally acquired at post-secondary classes, seminars, webinars, courses, etc.
